The next edition of the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum (CEIIF) will take place in Zambia, marking a significant milestone in advancing regional collaboration and investment in Africa’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
The event will begin with a two-day conference featuring:
- The CEIIF Business Forum – A strategic dialogue space to unpack catalytic energy and infrastructure projects from Zambia and the broader region, highlighting investment opportunities and partnerships.
- The Africa Energy Colloquium – The discussion will focus on skills development and training for future industries. Further dialogue will centre around the regional focus on critical minerals and the case for coal within Africa’s evolving energy landscape
Following the conference, selected delegates will embark on two days of site visits to landmark energy and infrastructure projects in Zambia, including:
- The Maamba Energy Expansion Project – A major thermal power generation initiative contributing to Zambia’s energy security.
- The Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ) – A flagship industrial zone promoting manufacturing, innovation, and green energy development.
- Kafue Gorge Power Station – A hydroelectric power plant across the Kafue River in Zambia.
CEIIF aims to foster actionable partnerships, promote knowledge exchange, and spotlight Zambia as a hub for sustainable energy and infrastructure investment in Africa.
