The second edition of the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum (CEIIF) will take place in Zambia, marking a significant milestone in advancing regional collaboration and investment in Africa’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
The event will span four days, beginning with a two-day conference featuring:
The Africa Energy Colloquium – The discussion will focus on skills development and training for future industries. Further dialogue will center around the regional focus on critical minerals and the case for coal within Africa’s evolving energy landscape
The CEIIF Business Forum – A strategic dialogue space to unpack catalytic energy and infrastructure projects from Zambia and the broader region, highlighting investment opportunities and partnerships.
Following the conference, delegates will embark on two days of site visits to landmark energy and infrastructure projects in Zambia, including:
The Lobito Corridor Project – A key regional infrastructure corridor enhancing trade and logistics between Zambia, Angola, and the DRC.
The Maamba Energy Expansion Project – A major thermal power generation initiative contributing to Zambia’s energy security.
The Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ) – A flagship industrial zone promoting manufacturing, innovation, and green energy development.
CEIIF aims to foster actionable partnerships, promote knowledge exchange, and spotlight Zambia as a hub for sustainable energy and infrastructure investment in Africa.
